Welcome to the registration page for language training at VDL Group. This page is for managers to register your employees for language training in Dutch, English, French or German at VDL. You can find all necessary information about the training courses, the registration procedure and the conditions of participation and cancellation in the following information.

Courses available. VDL employees can participate in a training course in groups of 4 to 8 participants. The training courses take place at Place for Bizz and Bond in Eindhoven. We can also organise courses at a specific VDL location if there are enough participants of the same language proficiency level based there.  The training courses last 30 hours and are divided into 12 lessons of 2.5 hours on a fixed part of the day and at a fixed time. In principle, the lessons take place during the day and generally start in March and September.

Costs Each course is tailored to the language proficiency level of the participants and, if possible, also to their field of expertise. VDL employees should be willing to attend all lessons and spend approx. 1.5 hours per week on self-study and preparation for the lessons. The costs per participant are € 1025,00 excluding VAT (21%).

Registration procedure. Please register your employees using the form below. We consider each registration as a binding agreement. Once we receive your registration, we contact the individual employees and make an appointment for an intake interview by telephone in which we determine their language proficiency level and gather any other information we require. We then allocate them to a group on the basis of level, availability as indicated by the participant, location and – if there are sufficient participants – field of expertise. We confirm the lesson dates to each participant at least 3 weeks and 3 working days before the start of the course.

Cancellation Policy. If a participant does not participate in a TSM language course after the intake interview, we will charge the following costs:

• €75.00 if cancelled within 3 working days after receipt of the lesson dates, unless the participant has already indicated when registering that he/she is not available on the days and/or times on which he/she has been assigned.;
  €1025,00 if cancelled after 3 working days after receipt of the lesson data, unless another colleague with a comparable starting level and learning goal can take over the place before the start of the training.
