Richard Brame
Englishman Richard Brame is founder and director of The Square Mile. As owner, he personally guarantees the quality of the service provision and training, his employees and trainers. Richard believes in transparent, professional and client driven training, ensuring you receive effective business language training that meets your specific needs. Today, tomorrow and in 10 years’ time.
Building relationships leads to better language training
Richard built his international experience working in commercial roles for United Biscuits, Sony and KPN. Having learned Dutch quickly, he realised that language skills open doors. On leaving KPN in 2001, he identified the need for a language training company where the client comes first and that invests heavily in personal contact and relationships with clients and trainers. Richard returned to the UK and followed the CELTA language programme from Cambridge University before returning to the Netherlands. He founded The Square Mile in 2002 and worked as a language trainer for 5 years within the business, building up his knowledge of teaching vocational language courses. Today, the business is preferred supplier to numerous organisations with business relationships dating back to 2002.
