Improve your language skills with The Square Mile, the specialist in in-company language training. Thanks to our partnership with Metalektro, you can join our high-quality courses with a subsidy of up to €2,650 per participant. This means that most of our courses are 100% subsidised! You can follow an individual course or train together with colleagues (up to 6 participants in a group).

Two routes for subsidised language training.

Route 1. Would your employer like to make use of the A+O Ontwikkelgids for individual and group courses? Complete the registration form below and we will contact you to identify your requirements, levels and objectives and plan the course(s) to fit your schedule. We then confirm the agreement with a contract, your HR manager can use this to apply for subsidy from A+O Metalektro. Register today to get started.

Conditions for participation in the A+O Metalektro Ontwikkelgids programme

For Whom?
All employees of companies affiliated with A+O Metalektro are eligible to take a training course from the A+O Metalektro Ontwikkelgids. Are you interested in Dutch? You can follow up to three courses in 2026.
Training period
The training courses are available until December 2026. Your course must be completed by this date. You can follow your course online or in-company.
Subsidy
Each training course from the Ontwikkelgids is subsidised by up to €2,650 p.p.
Registration
Ask your employer to register with us via this page. Your HR manager can apply for the subsidy through My A+O.
Administration
The Square Mile invoices your employer, who in turn must claim the subsidy from A+O Metalektro. Your employer must include the invoice from the training provider and a certificate or proof of participation.
