Language training subsidies via OOM

Are you an employer in the small-scale metal industry and affiliated with OOM? If so, you can provide your employees with language training at a highly reduced rate. Companies connected to OOM receive a substantial reimbursement for the training costs of employees in the metal sector. The subsidy covers up to 100% of the educational expenses.

Basic skills subsidy via OOM

The Square Mile and OOM have established a partnership regarding Dutch language proficiency. Affiliated companies can nominate employees for a fully funded 30-hour training course at The Square Mile. These training sessions can be conducted on both an individual and a group basis. Read more here.

Kickstart subsidy for the small-scale metal sector

For new employees within the sector, OOM offers a one-time training budget of up to €4,000. This subsidy is available until June 2026 and can be fully utilized for language training in English, Dutch, German, French, or Spanish. Read more about the terms and conditions here.

Personal Training Allowance via OOM

With the OOM Personal Training Allowance, you can subsidize 50% of the costs for English, Dutch, German, French, or Spanish language training, up to a maximum of €1,000 per person.
