The Dutch Language Budget: Up to €1,500 for Language Training
Looking to significantly improve the Dutch language skills of your flexible workforce? Take advantage of the Doorzaam Dutch Language Budget, offering up to €1,500 in subsidies for intensive, on-the-job Dutch language training.
- Amount: The budget is a maximum of €1,500 (excluding VAT) per temporary employee.
- Focus on NT2: This budget is exclusively intended for learning the Dutch language. It can be used for both individual 1-on-1 training and group programs.
- Application via Consultant: The Dutch Language Budget is usually requested by the temporary employment agency (the consultant) on behalf of their employees. A condition is that the organization contributes to the SFU.
- Application Rounds: Doorzaam works with specific application periods throughout the year. As there is a fixed annual budget, the “first-come, first-served” principle applies.
With this more extensive budget, intensive language programs can be facilitated that directly improve workplace safety and the long-term employability of the flexible worker. The Square Mile is happy to advise you on a suitable programme that fits within the framework of this budget.
Training Voucher (€500)
The training voucher is a personal budget that a temporary employee can use for a course of their choice. Here is what you need to know:
- Value: The voucher has a value of €500 (including VAT).
- Eligibility: For temporary employees currently working under the ABU or NBBU Collective Labour Agreement (CAO).
- Personal Initiative: The employee applies for the voucher themselves to strengthen their position in the labor market.
- Language Training: Language training at The Square Mile is a recognized use of this voucher.
Please Note: Limited Availability Doorzaam training vouchers are often released in phases and are typically subject to a “first-come, first-served” principle. We therefore advise you to check the current status on the Doorzaam website before starting an application.
How Does the Application Process Work?
- Request the Voucher: Register via the Doorzaam portal for a training voucher.
- Receive a Proposal: The Square Mile creates a targeted training proposal that aligns with the voucher budget.
- Completion: After the training is finished, the voucher is redeemed. We provide support with the administrative processing required by Doorzaam.
