Internal Language Classes- Beginners’ Dutch at ESA ESTEC<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Welcome to the information page for ESA ESTEC staff members, contractors and spouses. This page contains the information you will need to register for Beginners’ Dutch<\/strong> courses starting in March 2021. You will need your ESTEC Division Code to register.<\/p>\n

Please note:\u00a0 these courses are ONLY for complete Beginners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Course format<\/strong><\/p>\n

All courses will be ONLINE<\/strong> via Webex.
\nCourses are once a week for 2 hours per week.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Dates<\/strong><\/p>\n

The deadline for registration is Monday 1 February 2021<\/strong>. The courses will start in the week of 1 March 2021.<\/p>\n

We are offering three lesson times but require a minimum number of participants to start the groups. The lesson times are:<\/p>\n

Monday 10:30-12:30<\/p>\n

Tuesday 08:15-10:15<\/p>\n

Thursday 08:15-10:15<\/p>\n

After registration, you will be given the opportunity to sign up for the time slot of your choice.<\/p>\n

Payment<\/strong><\/p>\n

Course fees for 30 hours’ tuition are \u20ac113.75 for staff members, their spouses and trainees. Contractors and their spouses pay \u20ac227.50.<\/p>\n

PLEASE NOTE: newcomer PERMANENT<\/strong> staff who arrived in the Netherlands less than one year ago can take advantage of one fully subsidised Dutch course. You can either <\/strong>start in March and do a 30-hour course or <\/strong>wait for the September session and benefit from the 60-hour course. This offer is the result of a new policy for Dutch courses to encourage integration in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

German speakers<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be no special group for native German speakers in the Spring round of courses.<\/p>\n

You will receive information on your course schedule in mid-February together with details on how to pay. Payment must be made after lesson 2 of your course. Course books are not included in this fee and we will provide you with details of how and where to purchase these online.<\/p>\n

Cancellation and Absence<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you have to stop participating for any reason or expect to miss any classes, please inform The Square Mile at esa@thesquaremile.nl<\/a> as soon as possible. Please note that the full fee is payable even if you do not complete a course, or if you do not cancel in writing before lesson three of your course.<\/strong> No refunds can be given.<\/p>\n
